I Hope This is Educational
I know one thing I've tried that didn't work out was envelope stuffing. I won't list the company for fear of retaliation (lol). But let me just warn you that if the company requires you to send any money, even if it's just a few dollars, a lot of times it's a scam. I thought this one company was legitimate because they were only asking for $3 so I signed up and sent them the money. The thing is, I NEVER heard back from them again. You may be thinking like I was, 'It's ONLY $3.' The thing is if 100 people out there did the same thing I did and never heard back from them either, that company made $300 just like that. Imagine if 1000 people responded, or 5000. Get the picture? Don't get me wrong, there are SOME companies who hire envelope stuffers and actually DO pay them. I worked for a company here locally for several years. It was easy work. I would stuff and address 4,000 envelopes a week. I even got my family involved. We really had a system going there for a while. Anyway, I don't want to get off track. So all I'm saying is beware of companies out there who ASK for money.
The same principle applies to Mystery Shopping. I have been a Mystery Shopper for over 3 years now. If you want to become a Mystery/Secret Shopper and get paid to shop or eat at restaurants this is a legitimate business. There are hundreds of companies out there who hire mystery shoppers. I know, like I said I've been doing it now for several years. Like I said, just beware of any company that requires you to PAY them up front. You don't have to pay any company to shop for them. If you want a list of the mystery shopping companies that hire, just do as I did. Do a search online and type 'mystery shopping' or 'secret shopping' and you will get a whole list of companies that hire mystery shoppers. Just remember to weed out the companies that require you to pay up front. Avoid them.
Well, I hope todays blog was helpful. Thanks for reading.
To your success,
Anna A
